A great way to move kids’ energy in the right direction is to build an obstacle course in your house or a garden. You can use all suitable things like furniture, boxes, kids’ toys, and blankets. Do not forget to add this activity to the schedule list. You can also use it as a reward twice or more a day.

Being isolated does not mean that you have to stay inside all day. The reason is to be away from other people, not to stay in the house. So feel free to play in your garden, or you can drive to the park or forest where there are no visitors. Fresh air is helpful for the mind and body and helps to avoid depressive thoughts. Exercises in the fresh air are the best thing you can offer to your family to stay safe.

Routine time would be less stressful if you add relaxation time to the schedule. We can bring peace to our family if we keep anxiety at bay. Devote evenings to board games, listening to music, cooking together, or taking a relaxing bath with candles. You can choose whatever makes you happy. When you self-isolate, rules are simple: you have to find a balance between work and relaxation, between family time and working plans.
